- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Safety, Health, & Environment, Human Resources, and Nutrien colleagues to leverage organizational resources and expertise.
- Actively contribute to business plan development, budget forecast, and production targets.
- Respond to inventory audits and asset reviews in a timely and accurate manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field is required. Equivalent experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
- 5 years of previous progressive experience in warehouse operations is essential.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management technology systems.
- Competent in effectively developing operational activities to manage the flow of goods.
- Familiarity with storage optimization, bulk chemical safety, and machinery maintenance.
- Ability to implement tactics for managing inventory relative to changing business operations.
- Proven problem-solving methodologies to manage unforeseen circumstances.
- Skilled in leading workforce through periods of peak productivity and gradual declines.
- Demonstrated attention to details which impact efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
- Ability to effectively analyze warehouse performance and make data driven decisions.
- Ability to provide effective leadership to employees, maximizing performance and responding to employee ideas and concerns.
- Continuously work to prevent workplace accidents, supporting employees in ensuring that everyone goes home safe every day.
- Balanced ability to effectively listen and appropriately respond to customers, employees, and a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to role model professional conduct while working in a dynamic, deadline driven environment.
- Previous experience with SAP software is an asset.
