- To identify the customers needs and buying motivations and pair them with the correct vehicle, conduct the product presentation, perform the demonstration drives, and ask customers to purchase the vehicle.
- Constant improvement in vehicle and process knowledge and in educating the customer on products and processes.
- Assisting customers at initial contact, professional follow up, and after the purchase.
- Track customers through meticulous input of information into the database. Follow up by phone, email, and documentation of all communication
- Desire to learn and understand vehicle financing and to be comfortable presenting financing options to customers.
- Ability to be advanced to an elite product specialist able to take the customer from initial greeting through the entire sales experience ending with the presentation of all ancillary financial products and the signing of all purchase documents.
- Meticulous eye for detail in all paperwork.
- Creation of purchase agreements, appraisal information, credit applications, and all other documentation.
- Strict adherence to all local, state, and federal reporting guidelines.
- Prior automotive sales experience is a MUST.
- Prior luxury experience is preferred.
- Education - Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.
- Skills/Aptitudes - Strong verbal and written communication ability, strong listening skills, ability to take instruction and follow direction, punctuality, strong customer focus and a growth mindset.
- Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year and have a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.
- English/Spanish bilingualism is a plus.
- Monday - Saturday from 8:30 am - 7:00 pm, shift start and end times vary (roughly 50 hours per week)
- Off Sunday plus one weekday
- Commission based.
- Paid training period - $20 per clock hour for up to 60 days.
