- Work experience in higher education.
- Flexibility to work in an open office environment and actively collaborate with other staff members.
- Experience using situational awareness to provide excellent and adaptable customer service in a variety of situations.
- Managing the Federal, State, and JOB Work-study programs.
- Developing and presenting training materials for aid-based student work programs.
- Working with internal and external employer partners and supervisors to support student workers.
- Assisting students and families with general guidance on financial aid and scholarship processes, including completing the FAFSA, scholarship, and other financial forms or documents.
- Lead on the communication plan for Student Financial Services, including the development of correspondence and the establishment of timelines.
- Making presentations about financial aid, scholarship, and aid-based work programs to prospective students, current students, and high school counselors.
- Partnering with other office staff on projects and assignments.
- Serving on campus committees as needed.
- Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support recruitment and retention of students.
