  • Lead and manage the end-to-end commissioning process for data center projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures in collaboration with project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and equipment.
  • Oversee testing, inspection, and validation of mechanical, electrical, and control systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues during the commissioning process, providing innovative solutions to meet project goals.
  • Prepare and present detailed progress reports, documentation, and commissioning records to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the commissioning process.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in commissioning and project management, preferably within the data center or critical infrastructure industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems used in data centers.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, and other relevant guidelines.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
Day-to-Day
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review project designs and specifications.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee commissioning activities and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Monitor progress and address any deviations from the commissioning plan.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss project updates, challenges, and solutions.
  • Analyze test results and prepare comprehensive reports for review and approval.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and contractors.
  • Ensure all commissioning documentation is accurate, complete, and properly archived.
