- Lead and manage the end-to-end commissioning process for data center projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and equipment.
- Oversee testing, inspection, and validation of mechanical, electrical, and control systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during the commissioning process, providing innovative solutions to meet project goals.
- Prepare and present detailed progress reports, documentation, and commissioning records to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the commissioning process.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in commissioning and project management, preferably within the data center or critical infrastructure industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems used in data centers.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, and other relevant guidelines.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review project designs and specifications.
- Conduct site visits to oversee commissioning activities and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor progress and address any deviations from the commissioning plan.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss project updates, challenges, and solutions.
- Analyze test results and prepare comprehensive reports for review and approval.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and contractors.
- Ensure all commissioning documentation is accurate, complete, and properly archived.
