Your role will involve partnering with other product teams, designers, and technology teams across the organization to deliver intuitive, controlled, and seamless 529 college savings experiences for our advisors. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence across product lines and collaborate with senior stakeholders, contributing significantly to our ambitious business goals.Job responsibilities
Define strategy, operating model, and roadmap to achieve vision and business goals for innovative advisor facing 529 college savings applications. Own and drive a product roadmap to meet business goals and requirements
Understand the 529 college savings industry products, solutions, and competitive landscape to inform which initiatives and features to prioritize. Participate in user research to uncover advisor needs and inform feature definition
Partner with developers and UX designers to deliver intuitive, differentiated user experiences and validate design through advisor feedback
Collaborate with other product teams, stakeholders, and designers to deliver end-to-end product and experience. Partner with technology to triage issues end to end until full resolution is achieved. Communicate issue resolution to appropriate parties and escalate issue as necessary to ensure proper response
Embody true “customer-obsession” in identifying and leveraging user data, industry trends and varying forms of advisor and stakeholder feedback to shape the design and roadmap
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Highly self-motivated with ability to remain composed under pressure and excel during periods of ambiguity
Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team in a large organization
Subject matter expertise around wealth management and/or personal finance desired
M.B.A. or graduate degree in relevant field desired
