Our Client, an EV Manufacturing company, is looking for a Project Coordinator 4 for their Southfield, MI location.Responsibilities:
  • Work with TPMs and the Engineering Leads to ensure that all defects are properly documented and updated, and that relevant information is communicated effectively.
  • Work with Development and Feature TPMs to ensure that defects have clear ownership and that the next steps are clearly defined.
  • Work closely with Component ECU-level TPMs, development, verification and validation, and product management stakeholders to ensure clear communication regarding defects and their status.
  • Ensure that bug boards assess and prioritize defects based on severity, impact, and customer requirements to ensure critical issues are addressed promptly.
  • Hold regular reviews for critical defects to ensure timely closure.
  • Generate weekly defect reports on defect trends and the status of defect resolution to stakeholders at the Bug, Release, and Program reviews.
  • Define, measure, and report on defect management SLAs.
  • Evaluating the risks associated with defects and making recommendations for mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the stakeholders and perform analysis to determine the root cause of defects and facilitate discussions to prevent recurrence.
  • Identify areas for process improvements in defect management and quality assurance practices.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the Automotive Industry
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and methodologies, such as Agile
  • Experience with software program, requirements, defect and configuration management tools, such as Jira, Jama, GIT, etc.
  • Ability to create queries and customised dashboards in Jira
  • Attention to detail, even under pressure
  • Demonstrate experience of working in a high-pressure environment with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to build a strong relationship with internal customers, influencing and persuading where appropriate and resolving any conflicts
  • Ability to explain the lifecycle processes and articulate knowledge of Defect Management to a wide audience
