Team up with teachers, parents, and students to create a world where every voice shines bright.Speech-language pathology Assistants are support personnel who, following academic coursework, fieldwork, and on-the-job training, perform tasks prescribed, directed, and supervised by ASHA-certified speech-language pathologists.Speech-language pathologists prevent, assess, diagnose, and provide counselling and rehabilitation for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.We are seeking for a Speech Language Pathologist! Be a part of our fast growing team!Job DescriptionProvide life-changing treatment, support and care for children and adults who have difficulties with communication, eating, drinking and swallowing. You'll help people who, for physical or psychological reasons, have problems speaking and communicating.Patients may be able to perform other activities but need speech therapy. Part of your responsibilities may be to educate staff on the value of speech therapyLicense or Certification:
Must be in possession of current SLPA certificate on or before the first day of employment.
CPR certification, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver License
Education, Training and ExperienceMinimum requirement: Associate degree in and/or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program.
Experience is preferred but not required.
