Job Category: Applied R&DJob Description:As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the comprehensive design and deployment of 4G and 5G mobile networks. In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of solutions across key domains including RAN, Core (EPC and 5GC), IMS Core, signaling, policy, and subscriber data management. You will collaborate closely with telecom operators, system integrators, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, carrier-grade network solutions tailored to complex deployment environments.Responsibilities:
  • Architect comprehensive 4G/5G network solutions covering EPC (MME, SGW, PGW), 5GC (AMF, SMF, UPF), IMS Core, signalling (NRF, SCP), policy (PCRF, PCF), and subscriber data management (HSS, HLR, UDM, UDR).
  • Develop end-to-end network blueprints addressing scalability, reliability, security, and high performance.
  • Produce technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs, network schematics, and migration plans.
  • Lead deployment planning and integration of multi-vendor packet core, IMS, and OSS/BSS components.
  • Oversee solution configuration, testing (functional, interoperability, load, failover), and optimization.
  • Support and ensure carrier-grade requirements for latency, throughput, scale, and high availability.
  • Stay abreast of 3GPP standards, industry trends, and best practices in 5G SA/NSA, VoLTE/VoNR, and virtualization/cloud-native solutions (NFV, Kubernetes, etc.).
Qualifications:You Have:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent with 15+ years' experience in telecom network solution design and deployment, with a focus on 4G EPC and 5G Core.
  • Deep technical knowledge of: Packet Core: MME, SGW, PGW, AMF, SMF, UPF, IMS Core (CSCF, BGCF, MGCF, SBC, etc.), Signalling: NRF, SCP, Policy: PCRF, PCF, Subscriber Data Management: HSS, HLR, UDM, UDR.
  • Experience with end-to-end call/data flows, network slicing, and interworking (4G/5G/IMS).
  • Demonstrated success with multi-vendor, large-scale network deployments (on-premise, virtualized, and/or cloud-native).
  • Hands-on experience with integration, migration, upgrade, and troubleshooting in live networks.
  • Knowledge of OSS/BSS integration, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
It would be nice of you also had:
  • Familiarity with automation (Ansible, scripting), CI/CD, and cloud orchestration platforms (Openshift, Kubernetes).
