- Annual Giving Program & Events
- Manage the solicitation and stewardship for prospects and renewals for annual fund gifts including gala sponsorships, board member giving, and individual giving.
- In coordination with Development Coordinator, assure accurate and timely acknowledgement of gifts.
- Design and manage a comprehensive direct mail program and online giving strategies and analyze Direct Mail/e-mail solicitation program results data to refine and increase ROI.
- In coordination with Development Coordinator, oversee Monthly Giving Campaign launch and execution.
- Work closely with Marketing and Communications department to develop and manage consistent messaging to donors and prospects that aligns with solicitation and donor-specific stewardship communications.
- In coordination with Development Coordinator, oversee TEAM ASM and its peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with individual donors, alumni, and community stakeholders.
- Provide research briefs and identification of prospects to move into a pipeline for major giving support.
- Strategically manage a portfolio of 50-80 individual donors and prospects.
- Oversee the Birthday Card and Holiday Card processes for BOD, ADV, and VIP donors to ensure cards are sent in a timely manner.

- Associate Board
- Oversee ASM’s Associate Board of emerging leaders, providing them with strategic vision and assisting in the success of their annual Sneaker Ball fundraiser.
- Coordinate meetings, tours, and events for the group.
- Steward members and assist them in developing the Board.
- Capital Campaign
- Assist in completion of Teens Building Chicago’s Future campaign. Including preparing donor materials, scheduling, coordinating with outside consultants, and researching potential donors.
- Coordinate pledge redemption process and work with Database Manager to ensure all gifts are recorded accurately.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: Development Coordinator
- Demonstrated ability of working on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
- Demonstrated experience in determining the best use of resources to meet goals of assignments.
- Able to lead cooperative efforts among members of project teams.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, set and manage priorities, and meet deadlines, following processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Able to develop and administer schedules and establish performance requirements.
- Experience with preparing and adhering to a budget.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster strong working relationships with internal and external constituents.
- College degree required.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in securing annual gifts, managing donor portfolios, and/or prospect discovery and development required; supervisory experience preferred.
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs. Raisers Edge experience preferred but not necessary.
- Insured transportation to and from donor events and ASM sites.
- Work schedule Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM, with some nights and weekends mandatory.
- Hybrid work environment, 2-3 days in-person with more required as needed.
