Travel RN Job Details
- Position: Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

- Unit: 36-bed Med/Surg/Ortho
- Contract Length: 20 weeks
- Start Date: September 15, 2025
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
- Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend; holidays as scheduled
- Float: To ED/ICU for medical holds only
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $2040
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (no pending or temporary licenses)
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- EPIC charting experience required
- Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Confident, independent, and adaptable RN
- Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays as needed
- Applicants must reside outside a 40-mile radius of Marion, IL
- Provide high-quality patient care in a 36-bed Med/Surg/Ortho unit
- Manage a patient ratio of 6:1
- Float to Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for medical holds as needed
- Demonstrate adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records
- Participate in scheduled holiday and weekend rotations
