Sr. Developer - Java/Power Platform - Location: Evansville, IN / Georgetown, KYWintegrity is searching for a Sr. Developer with strong Java development skills who can also design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft's Power Platform tools (like Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI), often requiring integration between custom Java applications and the Power Platform to create comprehensive business solutions.Key responsibilities might include:Java Application Development:
  • Building robust Java-based backend services to support Power Platform applications.
  • Designing and implementing Java APIs for data exchange with Power Platform.
  • Leveraging Java frameworks like Spring Boot to develop scalable and efficient applications.
Power Platform Development:
  • Designing and developing custom Power Apps for user interfaces and data input.
  • Creating automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes.
  • Integrating Power BI dashboards to visualize data from both Java applications and Power Platform data sources.
Integration and Data Management:
  • Building connectors to integrate Java applications with Power Platform data sources (like Azure Data Lake, SQL Server).
  • Managing data flow between Power Platform and Java applications using APIs and custom connectors.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Working with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborating with other developers (Java and Power Platform) to ensure seamless integration.
Required Skills:
  • Strong Java programming skills: Expertise in core Java concepts, object-oriented programming, and popular frameworks like Spring.
  • Experience working with Solution Architecture and Enterprise Architecture
  • Experience working in AWS Environment
  • Power Platform knowledge: Proficient in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI development.
  • API integration skills: Understanding of REST APIs, SOAP, and how to integrate different systems.
  • Database knowledge: Familiarity with SQL databases (like SQL Server) and data management practices.
  • Front-end development skills: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for enhancing Power Apps user interfaces.
