You'll thoroughly review financial statements of existing commercial relationships, continually assessing risk and assigning appropriate credit risk grades in line with our comprehensive lending policy. Your expertise will ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulations, contributing to a trustworthy and secure banking environment. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background, combined with over 5 years of commercial credit experience in a banking environment, sets the stage for your success. Preferred specialized formal credit training will give you an edge as you navigate the complexities of underwriting. Your ability to analyze substantial amounts of data and distill it into key insights is crucial, as is your talent for communicating effectively with stakeholders about borrowers' repayment capabilities. You'll also need to gather, summarize, and interpret vital information from various business units, showcasing your collaborative spirit.Advanced computer skills, especially in spreadsheets, word processing, and database management, are essential to keep everything running smoothly. Lastly, nurturing constructive working relationships will be key as you collaborate with the credit analysis team!Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years of commercial credit experience within a bank environment.
  • Specialized formal credit training preferred.
  • Ability to effectively analyze significant amount of data and information and distill and communicate it to the key points impacting a borrower's ability repay the bank debt.
  • Capabilities to gather, summarize, and interpret information from other business units.
  • Advanced computer literacy including spreadsheets, word processing, and database management.
  • Ability to maintain constructive working relationships.
