As an Analog Engineer at Plexus Engineering Solutions, you will design and develop electrical hardware for products across a wide range of industries. This role collaborates with talented digital, software, mechanical, quality, manufacturing, and test engineers, and it sees all phases of the product development life cycle - from idea and concept; through requirements, design, and development; to transitioning to manufacturing and into the market.RESPONSIBILITIESImplement and verify the hardware design by using the appropriate EDA toolsDeliver prototype hardware to customers by implementing physical hardware design components, capturing schematics and supervising PCB layoutsAnalyze circuit designs with simulation tools such as SPICE and finite element toolsPerform hands-on, in-the-lab, troubleshooting and bring up of prototype hardwareTake detailed measurements of hardware using standard electrical measurement tools including oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers to assess circuit performance and inform design improvementsWork as a team with other analog, digital, software, and mechanical engineers to review and improve hardware designsDevelop project documentation in accordance with quality and change management procedures and guidelines to ensure project information is properly organized and archivedParticipate in performance review to ensure employee continuous improvement and growthReceive expert mentorship, guidance, and coaching from experienced hardware engineersMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSStudent working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology for the entire duration of internship.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSSophomore or Junior level statusGPA: 3.0 or higher is preferredThis document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform.We are pleased to provide reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities or special requirements.
