- Schedule: Weekdays 3pm onwards, 2x a week

- Strong academic background, especially in high school math (including calculus), English, and writing instruction.
- Experience working with neurodiverse students, including those with autism, ADHD, anxiety, and OCD tendencies.
- Ability to support executive functioning challenges and provide structured, organized approaches to learning.
- Patient, upbeat, and engaging personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of or willingness to learn strategies for supporting students with emotional and sensory sensitivities.
- Background in education, psychology, special education, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with IEPs and experience collaborating with families or support teams.
- Availability for in-person sessions in Temecula, with additional flexibility during school breaks to maintain consistency and emotional stability.
- Provide academic support in high school-level subjects, particularly calculus, general math concepts, writing organization, reading comprehension, and social studies content.
- Break down multi-step assignments into manageable tasks and support executive functioning skills such as planning, initiation, and task completion.
- Offer tutoring in a calm, predictable environment that is sensitive to anxiety and germ-related concerns, particularly during school breaks when structure is especially important.
- Build a strong, respectful rapport with the student through positive, engaging interactions and by incorporating personal interests into sessions where appropriate.
- Collaborate with the student's family and educational team to align with IEP goals and provide consistent support strategies.
- Adapt instruction to accommodate the student’s unique learning style and emotional needs, including flexibility around sessions and pacing.
