Laundry Supervisor

• Willingness to accept the most effective role.
• Oversees daily operation of the Laundry Department.
• Responsible for supervising all Laundry Attendants.
• Work alongside employees to wash, dry, and fold linens.
• Maintains stocking of linens within the hotel housekeeping closets.
• Ensures all laundry employees are trained and are preforming tasks correctly.
• Ensures all employees are maintaining a safe work environment and following safety protocols.
• Train new laundry staff and complete training checklist.
• Organizing training for the staff.
• Is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the Laundry Room.
• Ensuring the washing of linen per standard.
• Ensures the pre-treatment of stains on linens to minimize disguard.
• Tracking of discarded linens.
• Assists the Executive Housekeeper with interviews for the Laundry Department.
• Completes Quarterly Inventory of all Resort linens.
• Track maintenance issues with machines and communicate with the Engineering Department.
• Coordinating with the Engineering Department about their routine maintenance of the equipment.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for outstanding repairs of machinery.
• Assists in other areas of the Housekeeping Department when needed.

• Must be at least 18 years’ old.
• Weekends and Holidays required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Highly responsible & reliable and also ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues.
• Education high school or equivalent education required.
• Minimum one year or housekeeping/laundry experience in hotel industry.
