- Residential Interventions (BSW) - Learn about direct care, daily milieu routines and structure, shadow treatment providers and learn about documentation including progress notes and treatment planning, and assist in day treatment groups. (Working with ages 5-17).
- Independent Living Services (BSW) - Shadow treatment providers and learn about documentation including progress notes and treatment planning. Learn about daily routines and program structure. Assist with life skills groups and learn about systems such has juvenile justice, child welfare, and others. (Working with ages 14-22).
- Foster Care (BSW) - Shadow treatment providers and learn about documentation including progress notes and treatment planning. Learn about child welfare and mental health case management, participate in team meetings, and learn about the child welfare system and adoption process. (Working with ages 0-21 and families).
- Outpatient (BSW) - Shadow treatment providers and learn about documentation including progress notes and treatment planning. Learn about mental health case management and therapy services. Participate in team meetings. Learn about data collection, outcomes, and measurement. Assist with client outreach, report tracking and data collection, and day treatment groups. In addition, students will be able to provide Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment services to clients directly. (Working with ages 3+).
- Access & Medical (BSW) - Learn about the agency service continuum and referral process. Provide outreach to clients regarding service referral sand assist with waiting list management. Shadow treatment providers and learn about documentation including progress notes, mental health assessments, psychiatric evaluations, and treatment planning. Learn about data collection, outcomes, and measurement. Assist with client report tracking and data collection. Participate in team and committee meetings. (Working with ages 3+).
- Master's in Counseling or MSW (LPC, LSW) - Provide client services through individual, family, and group counseling and mental health assessment. Develop skills related to diagnosing, treatment planning, and outcomes/evaluation. Have experience with multiple systems and types of service provision. (Working with ages 3+).
- All Internship Opportunities:
- Successful candidates will shadow experienced Social Services Professionals.
- Co-facilitate or observe group therapy sessions.
- Conducting engagement and/or service coordination phone calls.
- Provide clinical support where needed.
- Attend agency meetings to develop an understanding of our programs and services.
- Qualified candidates must be in an accredited degree program for Social Work, Family, and Child Studies, or Counseling.
- Bachelor's Degree and currently enrolled in an accredited Master's Degree program (Counseling, Social Work, or Chemical Dependency Counselor Program).
- Counselor in Training Status (CT) with Ohio Counselor Board OR Social Worker Trainee (SWT) status with Social Worker Board (for candidates interning for Social Work).
- Be 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and proof of current automobile insurance.
- Have a clean driving record with no more than 5 points and be able to pass a background check.
