We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Managerial Tasks:
  • Manage supplies: monitor, stock, and organize closets, toolboxes, and maintenance areas, order supplies as necessary, within budget
  • Assist with the development of the annual maintenance plan/log
  • Maintain and update all daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual logs
  • Maintain equipment and building manuals and warranties
  • Provide knowledgeable guest service regarding facility offerings to guests and community officials
  • Understand and carry out facility policies and procedures
  • Open and close the facility as a Manager on Duty
  • Maintain safety standards to minimize incidents
  • Complete special projects and daily assignments as directed by the General Manager/Operations Director
Facility Maintenance Tasks:
  • Monitor and maintain overall appearance of the building and perform routine clean-up
  • Coordinate cleaning schedule around daily activities
  • Manage utilities (lights, temperature controls, heaters, etc)
  • Assemble equipment; maintain, line, prep, and repair playing surfaces
  • Schedule maintenance on facility equipment; diagnose and repair in-house as capable
  • Coordinate with managers on facility repairs and inspections to avoid conflicts and maximize usage of venue resources
Grounds Maintenance Tasks:
  • Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of the grounds and outdoor playing fields
  • Organize and stock maintenance & equipment sheds/storage areas
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair work with managers and contractors to avoid conflicts and maximize usage of venue resources
  • Monitor and perform tasks associated with keeping all walkways, lots, doorways, and flower beds clear of weeds, grass, trash, water, ice, and debris
  • Operate maintenance machinery to include but not limited to field grooming equipment, snowplow/shovel, Maintenance Utility Vehicle
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • General knowledge of maintenance, janitorial, and landscaping
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • At least two (2) years of related experience
  • Must be able to obtain CPR/FIRST AID certifications within a specific time period
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule; a combination of days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
  • Preferred experience working with facilities, schools, universities, or rec. departments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think quickly and rationally in times of emergency
  • Must be a team player with a positive can-do attitude
  • Excellent time management skills (coordinating schedule visits from outside vendors & contractors)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Capacity to take direction but work well under minimal supervision
  • CDL not required, but preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, lift, or bend
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to navigate around the facility for long periods of time
  • Ability to climb elevated areas to complete tasks (i.e. ladders, lift for scoreboards, climbing walls, etc.)
  • Facility has intermittent noise
