We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Designer & Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a strong understanding of cabinetry construction, and the ability to provide accurate estimates. This role combines creativity and technical expertise to deliver tailored cabinetry solutions for residential and commercial projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
- Develop custom cabinet designs using CAD software or other design tools.
- Prepare detailed and accurate project estimates, including material costs, labor, and timelines.
- Create and present design concepts and 3D renderings to clients for approval.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are feasible and align with manufacturing capabilities.
- Review project specifications and make recommendations for design enhancements.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices in cabinetry design.
- Proven experience as a cabinet designer, interior designer, or related role.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020 Design, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry construction techniques and materials.
- Excellent mathematical and estimation skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Degree or certification in interior design, architecture, or a related field (preferred but not required).
