The ideal candidate will provide expert diagnostic insight and know when to escalate complex cases to subspecialty radiologists for further evaluation.Key Responsibilities🔹 Interpretation of Imaging StudiesRead and interpret a variety of imaging modalities, including:X-rayCTMRIUltrasoundNuclear MedicineMammographyProvide accurate and timely reports to referring physicians.🔹 Procedural WorkPerform fluoroscopy-guided procedures such as:BiopsiesDrain placementsJoint injectionsOther procedures within the general radiologist's scope🔹 Collaboration and ConsultationWork closely with referring physicians and subspecialists to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.Consult with subspecialty radiologists when additional expertise is required.🔹 Quality and ComplianceMaintain adherence to institutional protocols and industry guidelines.Participate in peer reviews and quality improvement initiatives.🔹 Education and TrainingProvide guidance and support to medical staff and trainees as needed.QualificationsMedical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institutionBoard-certified or board-eligible in RadiologyValid state medical license (or ability to obtain one before starting)Strong proficiency in interpreting multiple imaging modalitiesExperience in fluoroscopy-guided procedures preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentPreferred SkillsAdaptability and confidence in managing a diverse caseloadExperience in a hospital or outpatient clinical settingComfort with consulting subspecialists when necessary
