Elite Surface Infrastructure (ESI) is a growing and reputable construction firm based in Englewood, Colorado, operating along the Colorado Front Range since 1998. As one of the largest self-performing contractors in the state, we specialize in Underground Utilities, Milling, Asphalt, Paving, Grading, Concrete, and Earthwork for a wide range of infrastructure improvement projects in the commercial, municipal, and federal sectors.About this Role: As a Training Instructor, you will be instrumental in shaping the skills and knowledge of our employees. You will be responsible for creating and delivering impactful training programs that align with our strategic objectives, enhance performance, and drive professional development. This position offers a unique opportunity to directly influence individual and organizational success by facilitating effective learning experiences across various topics and formats, including in-person and or virtual sessions, and blended learning solutions. We are looking for someone who can work with ESI to build systems, processes and develop strategies within our company.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Development: Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design, develop, and update engaging training programs focusing on safety, and operations.
  • Delivery & Facilitation: Deliver dynamic and interactive training sessions, both virtually and in-person, ensuring a positive and effective learning environment.
  • Assessment & Evaluation: Assess training effectiveness through communication, evaluations, and performance metrics, providing constructive feedback and adapting programs as needed.
  • Program Management: Manage participant registration, tracking, and reporting using our Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices in adult learning, instructional design, and relevant technologies to continually enhance learning offerings.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with executive team, managers, etc. regarding training schedules, objectives, and outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Communications, Business, and or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of proven experience in corporate training, instructional design, or adult learning facilitation within a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills with the ability to captivate and engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS), virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams), and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail.
  • Adaptability and creativity in developing solutions to meet evolving training needs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Regularly lift/carry 10–50 lbs; occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Frequent pushing/pulling of equipment and materials.
  • Occasional climbing, crawling, and kneeling.
