Job Summary:Sorts, prices, and prepares donated items for placement in the store.Essential Functions: * Inspects donated items for overall quality and determines disposition of items based on store manager's direction.
  • Places items in appropriate locations for pricing and/or distribution.
  • Prepares household items for the store according to the store quality and pricing standards.
  • Uses pricing machine, adhesive price tags and tagging gun to price items in accordance with store standards and Store Manager's direction.
  • Meets or exceeds goals and standards of production and quality.
  • Accomplishes assigned cleaning routine.
  • Assists in the training of workers and consumers in cooperation with the Workforce Development Department staff.
Additional Responsibilities: * CARF: Ensure documentation and compliance with CARF standards.
  • Safety: Maintain applicable safety standards, rules, and regulations in areas of responsibility.
  • Outcome Driven: Uses strategic objectives to drive performance and improve Goodwill's value to the community.
  • Stakeholder Focused: Work with integrity and provide exemplary customer services to internal and external stakeholders.

Education and/or Experience:High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in sales is preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Able to stand for two hours at a time over a period spanning up to eight hours.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
