- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients with mental health and substance abuse disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients' specific needs and goals.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate interventions and level of care required.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and monitor clients' progress in treatment.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health and substance abuse disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in mental health and substance abuse treatment.
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Licensed LPC, LISW, or LMSW.
- Substance Abuse Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing counseling services to individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and interventions for mental health and substance abuse disorders.
- Strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
