Records cash sales and charges on the bowling center POS. Sell merchandise from the per-shop. Responsible for maintaining the customer service counter in a presentable manner at all times. Answers telephone calls accepting reservations & pricing inquiries. Handle the public addressing system. Assigns lanes to customers and keeps operations running smoothly. Provides assistance in conducting league and tournament play. Maybe asked to provide assistance in the pro shop with cleaning customer bowling equipment. Will be required to periodically oil lanes and clear pinsetter jams that interrupt customer play. - This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
Knowledge of bowing rules & procedures is desired. Must have skills the use and maintenance of various bowling related equipment. In the know of bowling merchandise to assist patrons with their purchase is desired. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check.EducationSome federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
