This role ensures efficient and accurate operations, maintains inventory levels, and coordinates with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.Perks & Benefits

  • Inventory Management:
  • Supervise inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with controller and warehouse manager to implement good inventory procedures for arranging inventory
  • Shipping Operations:
  • Manage shipping activities, including packaging, labeling, and shipping of products.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of shipments.
  • Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Receiving Operations:
  • Supervise the receiving process, including verifying quantities, quality, and damage.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure timely processing of invoices.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead and manage a team of shipping, receiving, and inventory personnel.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient operations.
  • Monitor performance and address any issues or concerns.
  • Warehouse Management:
  • Ensure the efficient organization and layout of the warehouse.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Implement safety procedures and conduct regular safety inspections.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience leading and managing a team.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
  • Forklift operator certification.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
