
Value Analyst - Supply Chain

- Responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships across multiple functional areas within the Health System to drive changes in product utilization and cost reduction strategies
- Utilizes clinical skillset (if applicable) to create open dialogue and leverage experience to drive willingness to change or make changes in product utilization
- Creates and presents projects to end-users and ancillary teams to facilitate conversation which drive decisions on financial, patient outcomes and operational questions
- Leverages data and clinical evidence to drive and execute improvements in patient outcomes, increase revenue and decrease expenses to the organization according to defined department SMART goals and key performance indicators (KPI)
- Leads and coordinates cost reduction and quality improvement efforts by working closely with Clinical Supply Optimization Committees and key stakeholders to develop effective plans and measurable outcomes
- Develop and collaborate with Utilization Management team to ensure efficient, in sync, and complete hand-off of product conversions and changes.
- Orchestrates unbiased and professional evaluation process for product and process including feedback collection, providing education or evaluation criteria and coordinating vendor relations
- Assist with implementation, rollout and adoption of system wide Value Analysis software
- Analyzes assigned products and contracts with the goal of attaining the best value decision.
- Utilizes all available tools to gain market knowledge and to access best pricing of assigned categories. Negotiates pricing and contracts for products and product spend categories.
- Responsible to achieve defined annual savings and value stream goals and objectives
- Develops and maintains vendor relations; escalates vendor concerns to management
- Effective communications to key stakeholders including but not limited to medical staff, clinicians, executive leaders and supplier executives.
- Utilizes internal and external data to identify savings opportunities, including our Group Purchasing Organization's (GPO) tools, purchasing data, contracting data and other internal financial tools.
- Develop communication, education, structure, development, and reporting opportunities to sustain and build program
- Incorporate opportunities that cross multiple disciplines that have global impact on revenue or patient outcomes

- Bachelors Degree in related field of study from an accredited college or university. OR: Minimum of three years of commensurate experience in supply chain.
- Master's Degree in related field of study from an accredited college or university.
- Clinical experience, including but not limited to the following environments: Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology Technologist, Surgical Technologist, Respiratory Therapist, Cath Lab Technologist, Electrophysiologist Technologist.
- Value Analysis (AHVAP) certification.
- TUKHS Lean certification.
- Fluent English - with advanced communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft applications.
- Familiarity with Lean concepts and processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands.
