- Assist the Chef in managing daily kitchen operations by supervising staff, coordinating deliveries, and properly handling meats, produce, and baked goods.
- Train and mentor line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers to uphold kitchen standards.
- Ensure and maintain strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
- Oversee food preparation, including measuring, cooking, seasoning, and plating.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes by following standardized recipes, ensuring proper seasoning, doneness, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas while efficiently managing food inventory and production prep.
- Support safety protocols, emergency plans, and elopement prevention practices.
- Foster a warm, collaborative atmosphere with residents, families, and team members.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years or older, per Title 22 requirements
- At least two (2) years of culinary experience
- Formal culinary training or degree preferred
- Supervisor experience preferred
