Job Summary Provide clinical expertise and customer education programs, materials, and resources in support of Medline clinical products and/or services.
Supports driving the supply chain objectives across multiple clinics to support the health care organization's clinical and cost agendas. Provide end-user insight to clinical process enhancement and improvement opportunities in order to secure or enhance current business.Job DescriptionThis hybrid position will work 2 days a week in the Chicago office and 3 days a week from home, unless travel is to another Chicago area office location.ResponsibilitiesServe as clinical liaison between Medline and customerProvide clinical support to customers and salesforce on clinical products and servicesAssist in identifying and reviewing opportunities for clinically acceptable conversions to drive savings for customer through product cross reference and samplingPartner with sales force on product trials, conversions and implementationsSupport system/clinic wide SKU rationalizationCollaborate with clinical teams and inventory to operationalize and initiate product conversions as well as provide ongoing support to ensure successful product utilizationRecords and prepares product and service utilization reports and updates applicable teamsWorks in collaboration with the CSBA and Medline account manager to develop strategies and identify process improvements that are focused on substantial supply/service cost reduction, standardization and utilization, while maintaining or enhancing qualityOversees opportunities and develops qualitative/quantitative analyses and methodologies for product/service utilization and cost reduction efforts focused on cost containment, utilization, waste reduction, and overall cost per serviceAssists in connecting relevant product education materials between requesting department, education team and associated vendorEvaluate relevant policies and procedures upon request; collaborate onsite with clinicians to finalize current practice, clinical protocols and SOPsConduct discovery assessments or coordinates specialty clinician discovery assessment; present findings of discovery assessments to Provider’s Supply Chain and Nursing Leadership and end usersFormulate strategies and plans for product and solution developmentProvide recommendations on practice improvement in conjunction with national nursing protocolsRequirementsBachelor's degreeAt least 5 years of clinical experience (patient care, education, or medical sales/support)This position will be located onsite at our customer's headquarters located in Chicago. Periodic travel will be required to customer's satellite locations throughout the Chicago areaExperience developing and delivering presentations/clinical information to various audience levels within an organizationExperience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutionsExperience prioritizing workload and scheduling effectively in order to meet deadlinesExperience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within, and external to, an organizationProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointEnvironment includes office setting and medical facilitiesPreferred QualificationsHealthcare supply chain or value analysis experienceMedline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.The anticipated salary range for this position: $96,200.00 - $144,560.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible.
