- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Oversees successful completion of operator onboarding program for all new hires, ensuring all required trainings and tasks are completed during their first week of employment and then continues to be a resource and offer additional training through the first 60 days until Operator Onboarding 60 day assessment is complete for each operator.
- Tracks progress of all night/day shift employees through the Operator Development Program Training Plan from Operator I through Cell Lead status ensuring consistent training across shifts.
- Trains to and assists in development of Operator Onboarding Syllabus.
- Assists in assessment of Operators on their training progress-in conjunction with the shift supervisor and provides feedback on Operator progression and status.
- Schedule and executes cleanroom training in accordance with the cleanroom regulations. Assists in ensuring the documentation is updated and accurate.
- Responsible for completion of documentation of all training records to be submitted to Human Resources.
- Assists in the development and management of a cross training matrix, by job types, to help assess and train operators and keep track of training by shift.
- Execute continuous training programs for all current operators, including scheduling of trainings and documentation of training completions.
- As needed, will train and document training for instances where customer complaints, new policies, procedures, forms, etc.
- Will audit current operators for proper execution of job duties, including but not limited to part inspection, label printing, pack out procedures, cleanroom gowning, and workstation cleaning.
- Identifies areas of operational opportunity for continuous improvement and makes recommendations.
- Will assist in random audits of batch records to ensure that all paperwork and activities are being carried out and documented.
- Train and document training for operators for any rework jobs that are currently in process; ensure rework area has everything they need in terms of supplies for rework. Will work with responsible Quality Engineer to ensure work instructions are clear and executable.
- Fulfills the role of production employees when the need arises.
- Any other duties and/or projects as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of accrued on-the-job training and experience.
- Proven ability to assess, train, develop, and motivate teams.
- Strong communication, problem solving, time management, prioritization, and organization skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated competency in plastics injection molding and performing training and mentoring (preferred).
