Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Packer in our Bowling Green, Kentucky Stamping Facility. The Packer is responsible for general production line work, packaging, labeling, and sorting of products.   • Comply with all safety procedures as required by the Health & Safety Act and/or Company practices or procedures including but not limited to the wearing of all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as specified by the Act or designated by the Company.
  • Cleaning and preparation of work area
  • Assisting team to progress order
  • Performing quality checks as you go and communicate deficiencies to the operator / quality inspector/ supervisor.
  • Maintain & improve housekeeping within his/her work area
  • Responsible for any equipment that has been assigned, and also responsible for the returning of the equipment to its correct location when completed.
  • Utilize lean-manufacturing principles and participate in action workouts to improve process capability, reduce overall costs and increase outflow
  • Participate and complete all Health and Safety training or any other training mandated by the Company.
  • Other duties assigned by the management team
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Graduate
  • minimum 2 years’ work experience.
  • Ability to meet quota and standards
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment performing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, midnights)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous manufacturing experience
