- Works with current referral customers to continually qualify referral potential of each customer.
- Completes pre-call planning and establishes an agenda for sales calls.
- Transitions referral customer accounts and activities within the department as needed.
- Completes periodic reports as requested.
- Updates Customer Relationship Management system (Salesforce) within one week of interactions.
- Completes department forms for projects as needed.
- Participate in team meetings with other Menninger staff to build relationships with marketing and clinical staff and ensure service knowledge is current; participate in periodic visits to the Clinic.
- Schedules time and place; communicates with referral customers and clinicians about specifics of activity; and ensures that activities will assist in generating referrals to Menninger.
- Provides to members of the team any important information about referral customers
- Contacts any clinicians that are attending the conference to ensure appropriate marketing support and to coordinate booth time.
- Identifies current and potential referral customers that are attending the conference and completes pre-call planning for these customers.
- Orders the appropriate marketing information to be shipped in a timely fashion.
- Arranges for travel and lodging within organization guidelines.
- Staffs the booth during exhibit hall hours of the conference.
- Follows-up with referral customers that attended the conference within 10 business days of end of conference.
- Provides input in the preparation of the yearly budget.
- Manages annual business development budget for assigned territory.
- Quarterly reviews the budget with the Director and other Sr. Business Development Representative(s).
- Identifies concerns/issues effecting census (negative and positive).
- Develops action plan(s) to assist in increasing census.
- Regularly reports to leadership about progress in completion of action plans.
- Remains educated and informed with respect to the market position of the Clinic.
- Makes recommendations with respect to the development of new programs or services which will be profitable for the Clinic.
- Provides leadership coverage for the department when Director is unavailable.
- Accurately represents the goals and activities of the department both internally and externally.
- Accepts additional assignments willingly.
- Demonstrates an ability to perform a variety of duties, maintains flexibility as referral customers needs change.
- Demonstrates an ability to respond to changing work loads and crisis and emergency situations.
