Kiddie Academy of Five Forks has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, optimistic and inspiring educator to join our family us as a Full-Time teaching assistant. This position will serve in a variety of age groups so flexibility is essential. Anticipated hours will be Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM. This position is not ideal for someone who is only looking for Summertime work.Candidates must be energetic, enthusiastic, responsible and love working with young children. Education in Early Childhood and experience are preferred, but not required. Responsibilities include assisting with general classroom management, lesson and craft preparation and completing digital daily reports. Flexibility is essential in this position.Teachers at Kiddie Academy of Five Forks are treated like professional educators, because they are! They receive comprehensive on-boarding and training, planning time, an hour lunch break each day, a classroom budget for needed items, opportunities to order art supplies each month, freedom and flexibility in planning their own lessons (but with plenty of support available from our leadership team). Most annually required trainings can be completed during paid hours. Our environment highly team-oriented with supportive and present leadership. We have a teacher workroom including teacher computers, a laminator, copiers/scanner, resource books, etc. We also have a comfortable break room should you opt to take your daily break at the school.
