Exempt : NoType : Regular Full-TimeDepartment : PIBHLocation : 100: CBPIR Program ManagerREPORTS TO: Clinical DirectorFSLA STATUS: ExemptLOCATION: Albuquerque, NMPOSITION SUMMARY:Supervises staff in the provision of child abuse prevention services including planning and overseeing all administrative, programmatic and therapeutic aspects of the Community Based Prevention, Intervention and Reunification Program (CBPIR). Will provide clinical supervision for all identified staff in assigned counties.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work and minimum of five (5) years of experience or any combination of education and experience working with community health; social service issues; social work; behavioral health including (1) year of demonstrated supervisory experience, or Bachelor's degree in social service or education field may be considered IF approved by CYFD the funding sources for this program. Minimum of 8 years' experience if degree is not in Social Work.
  • Licensure by the New Mexico Board of Social Work with any of the following licenses: LISW, LMSW, LBSW
  • Extensive knowledge of community resources and the needs of families impacted by child abuse/neglect and involvement with CYFD.
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with the public, especially with community agencies.
  • Ability to provide public speaking, staff training and community presentation services.
  • Ability to exhibit emotional maturity and good judgment, to include high standards of morals and speech.
  • Must be dependable and flexible with regard to working hours.
  • Must be able to follow and carry out written and oral instructions quickly and accurately.
  • Must be able to use discretion in all facets of work-related situations.
  • Working knowledge of the behavioral health system in the community and associated resources
  • Working knowledge of Medicaid and Medicaid billing
  • Ability to recognize/identify needs of children, youth, adults and their families specific to child abuse prevention.
  • Ability to behave courteously, efficiently, and effectively in interpersonal relations.
  • Ability to exhibit emotional maturity and good judgment, to include high standards of morals and speech.
  • Effective decision-making skills.
  • Working knowledge of treatment plan development and implementation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Not Inclusive):
  • Provide a minimum of one hour of face-to-face supervision per week to CBPIR staff.
  • Provide in service training to CBPIR staff working with clients.
  • Review and approve all documentation submitted by staff pertaining to clients.
  • Assists in all Quality Assurance activities, case and file reviews for the assigned program
  • Participate in clinical supervision with assigned supervisor (frequency to be determined by the supervisor).
  • Participate in weekly group supervision/staff meeting with all program staff and supervisors.
  • Assist the Clinical Director in providing all required reporting to the funding source.
  • Provide guidance to the program as to the content and appropriateness of the clients' assessments; service/treatment plans; crisis/safety plans; Tiered Case Management, etc. progress notes including recommendations for revision, if needed.
  • Ensures all required contractual elements of the program are being met by all staff.
  • Assists the CBPIR Clinical Director, Senior Associate Director and Vice President in representing the CBPIR program at all required meetings per funding requirement.
  • Works with the assigned staff at triaging all incoming referrals and assigns them to the appropriate Family Support Worker for response.
  • Actively participates in all CYFD meetings including Warm Handoffs.
  • Ensuring all contract Scope of Work elements are being met.
  • Actively support and participate in the planning and implementation of new and/or expansion programs.
  • Actively prepares staff for audits from the funding source ensuring all required documentation is complete and updated
  • Other duties as assigned.
JOB CHARACTERISTICS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:This position is exempt from overtime provisions under the Fair Labor Standards Act. This is a professional position which requires organizational and communication skills, as well as judgment, tact and diplomacy in contacts with YDI employees, community residents, parents and local government agencies. Strict adherence is required to all regulation concerning confidentiality.Background investigation to include fingerprinting will be required. Physical may be required.Frequent travel is provided by employee and proof of satisfactory car insurance is required.Youth Development, Inc. is an at-will employer.
