- Set up new projects in company and client-approved accounting software programs.
- Monitor and update schedules by obtaining updates through meetings and constant communication with project leaders.
- Monitor and maintain the change notice/change order management system.
- Participate and assist in facilitating weekly project review meetings, reporting on pertinent delivery status developments.
- Develop estimates for projects, including but not limited to estimates associated with change notices.
- Develop and maintain the cost system, including reconciling commitments, change orders, and invoices, and producing cost reports.
- Analyze project data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed project reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to manage and track project resources and materials.
- Develop risk management plans and strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
- Provide training and support to team members on project controls tools and processes.
- Lead by example in matters of safety at all times.
- Assist in the preparation, tracking, and collection of all invoices.
- Support the project controls leader, CFO, VP, and other teammates as needed.
- Develop schedules and analysis for contract packages to forecast work activities and identify coordination issues where safety and schedule can potentially be in conflict.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with engineering colleagues, project managers, and clients on a daily basis through email, telephone, and face-to-face meetings.
- Conduct all work activities in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Work under the general direction of the Project Manager.
- Assist in monitoring project schedules, costs, and progress.
- Support the preparation of project reports and forecasts.
- Help maintain project control systems and databases.
- Assist in analyzing project data to identify trends and potential issues.
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Construction Science, Building Science or related field preferred
- Certifications of PMP, PSP, MPM or CCP preferred
- 5+ years of experience years of relevant industrial experience in planning, scheduling, cost control, invoicing and estimating.
- Teamwork, flexibility, integrity, and a high degree of professionalism are required.

- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
- Knowledge and understanding of schedule constraints and information requirements for the production of all project controls deliverables.
- Ability to develop a construction cost estimate, a detailed engineering schedule, and a man-hour budget for a small project or an area for a larger project with guidance.
- Ability to determine construction material quantities.
- Working knowledge of estimating and scheduling professional service hours and assessing the progress and quality of project controls work. Ability to accurately estimate the completion of assigned tasks.
- Proficient in the use of Primavera P6, Vantagepoint, Microsoft Project scheduling software, and Timberline Estimating software.
- Proficient in planning, scheduling, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, estimating, and cost control.
- Ability to Travel
