As a machine operator you will start training on their day shift for 4 to 6 months, after you're brought up to speed, you MUST move to Swing Shift. You will be rolling, forming, or bending metal using equipment like a Coast Wallace Tube Bender or similar rotary draw machines. This is not a CNC or traditional machinist role. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various pipe and tube materials, can read blueprints, perform manual quality checks, and adjust machine settings for precision bends. Mechanical aptitude, reliability, and a safety-first mindset are essential.Skills required:
-Experience rolling, forming, or bending pipes/tubes-Familiarity with Coast Wallace Tube Bender or similar rotary draw machines-Ability to read blueprints-Perform quality checks and dimensional inspections using calipers, angle finders, tape measures, and other manual inspection tools-Work with a variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, in a range of pipe and tube diameters
-Adjust machine settings to accommodate different radii, wall thicknesses, and bend types while minimizing distortion-Maintain and clean equipment regularly to ensure long-term precision and performance-Collaborate closely with shop leads and project managers to meet tight deadlines and custom order specs-Must have experience in manual machine operation related to forming, bending, or rolling—traditional machinist or CNC-only experience does not qualify-Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to safety requiredWhats in it for you:
