Location: 4910 Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144Job SummaryWe are seeking a full-time Lead Engineer with a strong background in Linux server infrastructure to lead and coordinate enterprise-scale initiatives. This role requires hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), automation tools like Ansible, and cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery of infrastructure projects and maintain alignment with organizational goals.This position is ideal for someone who is not only technically proficient but also aspires to grow into a team lead or managerial role.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation, with a focus on Linux server environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver technical solutions.
  • Oversee server builds, upgrades, and security hardening across RHEL 8/9/10 platforms.
  • Coordinate automation efforts using Ansible and shell scripting.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support cloud migration efforts and hybrid infrastructure strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards (CIS, SOX, PCI) and internal audit requirements.
  • Facilitate vendor coordination and issue resolution.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in RHEL server administration (RHEL 8/9/10).
  • Proven project management experience in IT infrastructure or DevOps environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Ansible, shell scripting, and automation frameworks.
  • Experience with Red Hat Satellite, SSH key management, and Linux security baselines.
  • Familiarity with Centrify (Delinia Server Suite) for Linux AD Bridge.
  • Experience with VMware, Terraform, Packer, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and hybrid infrastructure models.
  • Demonstrated interest in leadership development and career progression into team management.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThis position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $79,000 to $146,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience.
