- Provide technical support for maintenance, repairs, modifications, and equipment testing.
- Offer work guidance and technical support to junior technicians as needed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding technical issues.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment problems using technical documentation and drawings.
- Conduct repairs and modifications using a range of hand tools and testing equipment.
- Operate and maintain military vehicles provided by the Government at facility locations and during testing.
- Demonstrate equipment setup and adjustments for potential users.
- Document service and installation activities accurately.
- Deliver technical solutions to customers professionally.
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Analyze test results and adjust equipment accordingly.
- Maintain and improve technical documentation.
- Provide formal or informal training to customers.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills.
- Work variable and potentially long shifts for testing purposes.
- Exercise mature judgment and effective communication.
- Adhere to on-site scheduling requirements with minimal unplanned absences.
- Uphold the organization's mission, values, and culture.
- High school diploma or GED with at least 5 years of work experience.
- Strong documentation skills for technical service reports.
- Proficiency in one or more technical areas (e.g., electrical, mechanical, hydraulics).
- Ability to use laptop computers, mobile devices, and related software.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (50-75%).
- Possession or eligibility to obtain a U.S. passport and government clearance.
- Basic understanding of computer systems and operating systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong team-building and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as database technologies.
