SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Fully FundedAbout the Role:
We are seeking a Software Engineer (SWE) with strong experience in Linux-based environments and a passion for artificial intelligence systems to join our ML FRAMEWORKS team. In this role, you’ll contribute to the design, development, and deployment of a Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solution in a high-performance computing (HPC) Linux environment.
You’ll work alongside a collaborative team building secure, LLM-based AI systems that support mission-critical knowledge retrieval and orchestration tasks. This is a great opportunity to contribute to innovative, large-scale AI/ML solutions in a flexible, growth-oriented environment.Multiple levels are available from SWE 0 - SWE 3
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy containerized services using Docker, PodMan, containerd, and Kubernetes/Docker Compose orchestration.
- Write and maintain clean, scalable code using Python and Golang.
- Support the design and optimization of RAG pipelines, large language models (LLMs), and embedding systems.
- Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and source control using Git.
- Administer and monitor systems using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Contribute to system performance, reliability, and security by applying expert-level Linux CLI and shell scripting knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with GPU-enabled application debugging.
- Familiarity with LLM orchestration tools, such as OpenAPI.
- Knowledge of distributed processing frameworks such as Spark, Dask, or Ray for ETL workflows.
- Experience with SQL, Elasticsearch, and Vector databases.
- Exposure to web technologies like HTMX or HyperScript.
- Understanding of hardware/software integration for multi-node, multi-GPU AI training environments.
- Familiarity with AI inference solutions such as Nvidia NIM, Triton, vLLM, or Ray.
- Experience with Atlassian tools, including Confluence and Jira.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2 - 9+ years of relevant software engineering experience
