- Interpret and enforce Government and company policies as well as provide direction and guidance to employees
- Interface with program managers and maintain strong relationship with US Government Security customers
- Develop and revise security plans and procedures utilizing AFIs, DAFI's, DoD manuals
- Provide security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD254s and security guidance
- Provide security guidance and education to company and government personnel and advise Senior Management
- Oversight of personnel responsible for Special Programs and COMSEC
- Conduct investigations of non-compliance government regulations
- Write comprehensive investigation, adverse information, suspicious contacts, violation, infraction or administrative inquiry reports
- Develop and implement improved methods of inspection preparation, audits, and analysis of the security function to determine performance and cost effectiveness
- Assist Government Security reviews as well as any internal Security audits
- Conduct formal self-inspections overseeing implementation/completion of corrective action plan
- Conduct general and program specific briefings
- Establish and maintain physical security systems, contingency plans and emergency response through collaboration with Government Security Manager and Physical Security Managers
- Support to other security disciplines within the organization to include: Personnel Security, Physical Security, Communications Security (COMSEC), Special Programs, Document Control and Visitor Control
- Additional duties/tasks as required
- Support Government Customer's requirements for SAP, Collateral and SCI operations
- Bachelor's degree with six years of experience OR 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience with both Collateral and Special Access Program (SAP) policies and procedures
- Extensive knowledge of 32 CFR part 117 and DoDM 5200 series, to include 5205.07
- Experience with Government and Industrial Security data management and information protection procedures
- Ability to work independently following AFIs, DAFIs, and other DoD regulation
- Air Force Security Manager Course
- Industrial Security Certifications, such as SFPC or SAPPC
- FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities
- Current adjudicated TS clearance preferred
