- Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, distributors, and partners.
- Serve as the technical expert during sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.
- Understand customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their business needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer support teams to address technical questions and deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer visits to promote company products.
- Know the latest industry developments, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5+ Proven years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably in manufacturing, software, or electronics.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex products and solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mentality.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
- Experience with consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches.
