- Plan, direct, and coordinate daily activities for assigned programs or portfolios.
- Apply analytical thinking and structured problem-solving to define scope, break down issues, and develop practical solutions across different business areas.
- Ensure program plans, charters, and execution plans meet business needs.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and while ensuring they understand scope, timelines, and milestones.
- Work with program sponsors to confirm that business cases that align with objectives.
- Ensure teams are properly staffed and resources committed.
- Escalate risks to the Program Director or Sponsor as needed; maintain risk management plans.
- Works with procurement team to create, administer, track, and eventually close program contracts.
- Recommend training and development for assigned staff.
- Review team performance and make recommendations for promotions, pay, or other personnel actions.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Ensure required procedures are followed and standards met.
- Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, and address control issues transparently.
- 6-10 years of experience in consulting, transformation, or program management in large organizations.
- Required Licensing/Registration: Series 6
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to apply them in different business contexts.
- Team player with an enthusiastic approach to tackling challenges.
- Preferred experience managing different types of programs and adapting to varied projects across businesses.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and adapting to changing priorities.
- Ability to handle both business analysis and project management responsibilities seamlessly.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Negotiation skills and a can-do attitude.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, and ability to create stories using narratives
- Data analysis utilizing data visualization tool is a plus.
- Credit risk or other risk stripes experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree preferred
