POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented tech savvy individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. This role presents an exciting entry level opportunity for someone who wants to develop their administrative skills and has an interest in technology to contribute to our firm's growth and development. As we aim to enhance our technological capabilities, this position will play a crucial role in supporting the Chief Operating Officer with administrative functions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Providing administrative support to various departments.
  • Requesting technology-related tasks, such as setting up equipment for new hires.
  • under the guidance of our Managed Service Provider, may troubleshoot basic hardware or software issues.
  • Responding promptly to requests for assistance from staff members via various channels including in-person, phone, chat, or email.
  • Following standard procedures to ensure consistent service delivery and maintaining accurate records of all interactions.
  • Collaborating with team members to address any urgent issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Assisting with organizing and maintaining equipment inventory.
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new hires by ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources.
  • Providing light project management support to the COO and other executive management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Previous experience in administrative support roles, with a strong understanding of office procedures not required but an asset.
  • Basic understanding of technology and the ability to troubleshoot common hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
