Collision Repair Painter PositionThe Painter is a critical part of the reconditioning team. He or she is responsible for all aspects of painting, including masking vehicles, sanding, applying base, color and clear coats. The Paint Tech plays a key role in delivering quality, service, and customer satisfaction.Job Responsibilities:Has the ability to focus on meeting production schedulesCarefully inspects each vehicle and repair order prior to prepPrepares vehicles for paint, wet/dry sanding, masking and buffingRemoves all dust and other particles from prepared panelsMasking all panels to minimize tapelines and overspray on vehicleUsing basic hand tools and other small power tools in a safe mannerCleaning and wiping down vehicles prior to being moved into the boothMixing paint to manufacturer’s standardsKeeps up with the latest tools and technologyMaintains a neat, safe and clean work environmentWorks effectively as part of a teamDisplays respect towards co-workersProactively communicates concerns and new ideas in a constructive mannerWe offer full time employment with competitive hourly rates and an excellent benefit package.
