Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionSecured Lending Residential Specialist will be responsible for providing the information needed to order and review appraisals. In addition, a Secured Lending Residential Specialist will manage construction project files and advise on project progress. Level I will focus on residential 1-4 family appraisals and appraisal ordering. Level II will also handle residential 1-4 family appraisals over $1 million and residential construction funding for loans under $1 million. In addition to the previous tasks, Level III will handle any residential appraisals and residential construction funding for loans over $1 million.Below is a list of essential job functions. Additional responsibilities may be assigned in the position.PROVIDE ENHANCED CLIENT SERVICEBe the source of exceptional client and employee experiences. Meet employee and vendor expectations and established Bank goals. Develop solutions and implement plans to exceed employee and vendor goals as often as possible. Completes thorough review on these reports in a timely manner. Monitor the status of the reports and provide timely updates to loan officers. Maintain proper system documentation in electronic form to appropriate files. Manage residential construction projects based on loan conditions. Verify budgets, funding sources, contracts, permits, and disbursement requests.SEEK PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIESTakes advantage of training opportunities to advance knowledge of rules and regulations that affect the appraisal, environmental, and construction lending processes. Looks for opportunities to improve processes and procedures to make work more efficient. Continue professional development by voluntarily participating in elective course, webinars, and offsite seminars. As knowledge and experience advance, there will be opportunities to promote to Secured Lending Specialist II, and III.RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCETo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, with related experience and secondary education preferred. Successful completion of required background checks is required. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
