Responsibilities - Service Technician:
  • Perform work as outlined on repair order accurately in accordance with The Brake Shop standards
  • Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
  • Communicate with staff to obtain needed parts
  • Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required
  • Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
  • Document work performed
  • Keep shop area neat, clean and be able to account for all shop owned tools at all times
  • Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor
Requirements/Qualifications – Service Technician:
  • Previous Automotive Repair Experience – Hands-on experience with brake work, diagnostics, and general repairs is required.
  • Team-Oriented Attitude – We succeed together, so being able to collaborate and communicate well with others is a must.
  • Your Own Tools – A full set of personal tools is required to perform the job effectively.
  • Valid Driver’s License – Clean driving record preferred.
