The only thing missing is you!Position is responsible for interviewing patients as part of the accurate and time efficient registration process, capturing all required data elements. Determines eligibility and benefits utilizing online vendor. Identifies true self pay patients and routes patient account information to third party eligibility vendor when appropriate.Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health system organization policies and procedures.Education/License/Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one year’s medical office experience and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Medical Terminology course or acquire within 30 days of hire
  • Must complete 4 hours of education within 30 days of hire
  • Must complete EMTALA education within 30 days of hire
