Job SummarySupervises and evaluates billing, data entry, and cash receipt positions. Analyzes and implements accounting processes and procedures.II. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
  • Coordinates all departmental billing/customer issues and supervises day to day billing and accounts receivable operations.
  • Reviews and supervises roll-off data entry.
  • Maintains employee schedules.
  • Responds to billing-related customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensures billing cycles are completed timely and accurately and performs month-end accounts receivable close.
  • Complies and analyzes financial information for revenue trends, and supplies to Controllers.
  • Develops, coordinates, conducts training and evaluations of employees.
  • Reviews database monthly for integrity.
III. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThe highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is the management of non-supervisory employees. This includes:

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D (accredited).
  • Experience: Four years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
  • Accounting/bookkeeping, billing, cash handling, customer service and supervisory skills may be required.
