- You will provide high quality respiratory care.
- You will oversee daily shift operations and staff.
- You will maintain records and documentation.
- You will educate staff, patients and family.
- Assess, plan, evaluate, coordinate and provide quality care to the patients of the Cardio pulmonary department.
- Performs all procedures as ordered by the physician.
- Communicates with the physician as needed. Maintains patient records and log books, correlates charges with procedures.
- Assists the director in keeping inventory needs at appropriate levels.
- Assists the department director in maintaining appropriate PI programs while providing continuous assessment of and improvement to the quality of care and services.
- Assists in the orientation of new employees and helps with in-services for the staff.
- Assures that all employee evaluations are done on a timely basis.
- Represents the department at interdepartmental meetings when requested.
- Authorized to access secure drug and biological storage areas when completing a medication management orientation and when necessary to perform, the assigned duties.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP)
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist
