Employment Type: Long-term Contract Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong background in electronic hardware development and automotive project execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the design, development, and delivery of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and other automotive hardware solutions. This role requires technical depth in electronics engineering, program management expertise, and proven experience driving large-scale automotive projects from concept to launch. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end program management for automotive electronic hardware development projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery of ECUs and hardware components.
- Develop and manage program timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across hardware, software, and systems integration teams.
- Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular program updates and ensuring compliance with automotive standards.
- Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to automotive quality processes (ASPICE, ISO 26262, etc.).
- Ensure effective supplier and vendor management for electronic hardware components.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering (mandatory).
- 10+ years of experience in electronic hardware development within the automotive industry.
- Proven experience managing programs related to Electronic Control Units (ECUs) or similar automotive hardware.
- Strong knowledge of automotive project lifecycles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent program management skills: scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Hands-on understanding of automotive electronics, embedded systems, and hardware-software integration.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional and global teams.
- Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
- Certification in Project/Program Management (PMP, PgMP, or Agile).
- Experience with EV/Hybrid vehicle programs or next-generation automotive electronics.
- Familiarity with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Automotive SPICE standards.
