Overview: The Democratic National Committee is seeking a Data Associate, based in Wilmington, DE, to support the Biden Campaign and Democrats up and down the ballot by supporting the Coordinated Campaign’s analytics program. We are looking for individuals with a variety of backgrounds and experience, and are dedicated to building a team that looks like America.Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze campaign data to extract meaningful insights.
  • Help build and maintain survey data pipelines and tools.
  • Work with a team that works cohesively to execute projects with accuracy, attention to detail, and within timelines.
  • Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to produce deliverables.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience applying data and analytics tools in a political, business, non-profit, academic, or volunteer setting.
  • 1+ years using SQL for school or professionally.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills and platforms used by other team members.
  • A track record of prioritizing projects with the ability to be self-directed.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and implement creative solutions to unique problems.
Additional Useful Skills & Qualifications:
  • A technical skill set that includes familiarity or proficiency in a variety of programming languages/software such as (but not limited to) MS Excel, Google Suite, Python, QGIS, R, or dbt.
  • Experience volunteering or working on a political campaign data team or with the Voter File.
The salary for this position is $60,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position is in the bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local-500.
