Onsite/Remote:Onsite PositionNote: Relocation assistance is not provided.The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Part Time Student for JD Waterloo Works - Foundry Division located in Waterloo, IA, you will:
  • Learn how to identify, analyze and apply information to support issue resolution.
  • Develop tools to aid in data analysis and collection.
  • Participate in developmental assignments to gain experience.
  • Perform activities according to project plans and schedule.
This position is not available to students on immigration visas.What Skills You Need
  • Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics or Actuary/Statistics; others may apply.
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited college/university.
  • Graduation date of May 2027 or later.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
  • Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.
  • Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

  • Background in quality and process controls.
